Why dont you use ratings for components such as acceptable, serviceable, adequate, satisfactory, etc.?
Weve found that these kinds of ratings in inspection reports create unnecessary liability for inspectors without adding any real value for clients and many major Errors and Omissions insurers for home inspectors agree. In reality, its impossible to know if the components are really satisfactory under all conditions: We only test them under the limited and specific conditions in the home at the time of the inspection.
