Heatsinks and CPU cooler clearance: Every kit that I recommend in this guide feature either no heatsinks or small heatsinks that don’t raise too much above the RAM sticks. Why?

We do not recommend pairing our cassetttes with the ’07 XTR rear derailleur. The XTR derailleur lacks a barrel adjuster and we have concluded that the body flexes to the point that shifts are compromised and overall performance impaired. The XT for ’08 also lacks a barrel adjuster.
