Why dont you post a visible sign in the lobby about the non-use of those cell phones?
We have posted two large No Cell Phone postersone on each floor. The one on the first floor is located in the entryway right before the entrance to the actual library. Several 8 x 11 signs are also posted throughout the internet computer sections on the second floor. The librarys cell phone policy allows them to be used only in the Main Lobby, the meeting rooms or the study rooms. Staff are instructed to ask people to turn them off or to move to one of the approved cell phone use areas.
