In general we like the clinical information about quercertin and up until recently we were planning on using quercertin in our formulas. However we removed quercetin due to potential problems with this ingredient (and the FDA) involving its GRAS status (Generally Recognized As Safe). When the FDA finally rules on this ingredient’s status and we see more supporting information regarding its safety we will consider adding it back in to our formulations where appropriate. Is it true that some major vitamin manufacturers use synthetic versions of the vitamins listed on their label, and that some people believe your body can’t absorb most of what’s in synthetic products?
