Why don we have netball in olympics?

Netball is in fact a “recognised” Olympic Sport. That is, at any time Netball may be added to the Olympic programme through a recommendation by the IOC Olympic Programme Commission followed by a voting of the IOC membership. This is because Netball meets all the rules and regulations layed down by the IOC (Including rules about the number of participants in a certain amount of countries and continents and having an Anti-doping policy that is consistent with the IOC). Sports generally become a demonstration sport first – we may see this in 2012!
