the mothers are the most protective they try to find the safest place without predators hawks ,rats ,racoons,and people lil kids hurt them and poke at thir nests in mill valley ca i actually always see the moms on ther eggs but when people bother them the y get confused and scared and fly away from ther nest i see many of them and feed them for hours because when youre nice to them they arent scared reall y the most purest birds are pigeons + doves when ther sitting on ther kids and a hawk comes the y jump off ther nests and clap ther wings so the predator goes to them not ther eggs
