Why don the number of ratings on the chart page match the number on the album page?

The charts are based on a snapshot of the RYM ratings data at a specific date. The date is listed at the bottom of the charts page. If you apply any filters to the charts, the numbers on the chart page (with the exception of the # of reviews) represent the filtered results.
