Why dont the local doctors support Tehachapi Hospital?
The local doctors do support the hospital when they are not constrained by requirements of HMO agreements, and when patients do not require a higher level of care than that offered by Tehachapi Hospital. We request that Tehachapi area residents always ask their doctor if services that they have ordered can be performed at Tehachapi Hospital.
