Why don the increased restrictions apply to garden bore users?
The Minister for Water deemed that garden bore users should be exempt from the increased restrictions because their water use is fit-for-purpose. Scheme water users are using the highest quality water on their gardens. Whilst the one day restrictions don’t apply to garden bore users, we encourage all water users to be sensible with their water use and to be aware that garden bore use does have a significant impact on surrounding wetlands.
