Why don’t the dimensions of my property match the contract floor plan?
The total area is not simply a sum of all the measurements found in the drawings. True dimensions are measured from centres of walls and include plaster thickness. The areas are calculated by computers and will always contain some discrepancy when totalling up room dimensions. This is an accepted practice around the world.
