Why dont scottish people wear underwear with kilts?
For the most part most men who wear kilts wear them in “regimental” fashion unless there is good reason to do otherwise, like if you’re at an event with lots of children around, or very cold & windy days. Part of the reason is historical, that’s how they have been worn for hundreds of years. Part of the reason is that a 8 yard wool kilt can be quite warm. Part of the reason is freedom. That’s why many men wear a kilt in the first place…to break the tyranny of the troosers… Part of the reason is the mystique of the kilt. It keeps lovely young lasses asking “The Question”.
