The world economy is what’s benefiting. All our machinery, electricity, transportation devices mostly depend on fossil fuels. The oil companies are very engraved in our economy. So much that current science isn’t advancing as it has in the past. We have the technology to go 200mpg or have a car which only relies on solar energy, but they are constantly being surpressed. These companies even patent alternative energy devices themselves. This way, no one else can compete with them. (Don’t tell me you haven’t seen the energy commercial which claims, “Imagine that, an oil company as part of the solution.” The biggest egg I’ve seen laid in a long time) I hope to one day make a superconductor at room temperature using electrolysis. No heat loss= 100% efficient. Best yet, I want to build it under $100. That way, anyone has enough money to build one.
