Why don more fast food restaurants have vegetarian options?
It’s a bit of a stretch to say the fries are cooked with meat juices. It’s more of a flavoring (and don’t ask me why they feel they need to use it). Getting to your question: I’m not sure I’d want to eat a veggie burger from a fast food joint famous for cow burgers. Think about your burger being cooked on the same surface as a meat burger, and you’ll see what I mean. Also, because of the way the fryers are, your fries may end up sharing cooking in the same vat where something fleshy was cooked a few minutes ago. Yuck! There are a handful of options. Chipotle is wonderful if you’re vegan. Besides the obvious dairy and meat products, avoid the pinto beans; otherwise, everything else is vegan. There’s a chain called Moe’s Southwest Grill that’s also veg-friendly and has tofu as an option for your taco or burrito. At Subway, you can have a veggie delite. Johnny Rockets has the Streamliner, a vegan Boca burger (which I suspect shares grill space with the icky burgers). Create-your-own salad
