Because not many people are fond of milk floats and if they play a tune then people will only chase the milk floats for the noise not for the milk =]

cause milk floats deliver in the early morning and it would annoy people if they were woken up by music

Good question there Father!! I think it’s because the milk is delivered so early – you don’t want a loud jingle playing in your earholes at 5.30 in the morning lol!!! I think the poor milkman would be in serious bother if he woke everyone up with the tune from “The Wizard of Oz” or something!!
