Why don javascript programs run on my computer?
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x and 6.x (Windows) 1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu. 2. Click the Security tab. 3. Click Custom Level in Security Level for this Zone. 4. Scroll down to Scripting, near the bottom of the list. 5. Under Active Scripting, choose Enable. 6. Click OK to leave Security Settings. Click OK to leave Internet Options. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x (Macintosh) 1. Choose Preferences under the Edit menu. 2. Click Web Content under Web Browser. 3. In Active Content, check the box next to Enable scripting. 4. In Java, click Enable Java. Click OK. Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x (Windows) 1. Select Internet Options from the View menu. 2. Click the Security tab. 3. Set the security level for this zone to Custom (for expert users). 4. Click the Settings button (to the right of Custom). 5. Scroll to the bottom of the list and enable Active scripting. 6. Click the OK button to close the Security Settings window. Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
