Why don installed fonts show up in Fireworks 3?

Printer font outlines must be properly installed for Fireworks to access a font. ATM must be installed on the system for Fireworks to see Type 1 (PostScript) fonts. See: Fonts installed in the system do not show up in the Fireworks Font menu (TechNote 14301) for more information.
