Why dont I see the Quick Launch toolbar next to the Start button?
The quick Launch toolbar is not active unless it is turned on. This toolbar is used to store shortcuts to programs you use regularly and the toolbar is located in the taskbar next to the start button. As the taskbar is normally available while using any program, having shortcuts available without needing to minimise windows to access desktop shortcuts can be useful. • To activate the Quick Launch toolbar. • Right-click in an empty area of the taskbar. • Shortcut menu opens. • Choose Toolbars Quick Launch from the menu. • Quick Launch toolbar now appears in the taskbar to the right of the Start button.
