Why don I see anybody else in the Other Users nodelet? and/or Why isn anybody else talking?
Two possible reasons… There may be nobody else on, and nobody’s talking. However, it may be that you’ve changed which room you’re in. To change back to the outside room, where most people are, look at the top of the Other Users nodelet. Notice it has a drop-down list. Pick “outside”, and press the “go” button that is close-by (note – not the “talk” button). This will bring you back into the main room. You can also decide to go to a different room, such as Noders Nursery. You can find a list of rooms at the Available Rooms page. Sometimes, if you’re having a spirited discussion (read: shouting match) in the chatterbox, you may get automatically kicked into a different room, like Political Asylum. It is suggested that if you wish to have a freewheeling discussion that only involves one or two other users, you should take it into another room so you do not disturb the general chatter of the “outside” room.
