Why dont I receive my reserved-seating tickets right after I order them? Why do I have to wait until a week before the event?
In order to receive discounted tickets, Eservus almost always orders our tickets directly through the group-sales departments of the various teams, venues and production companies that organize the events (e.g. Toronto Blue Jays, Hummingbird Centre, Mirvish Productions, etc.). We reserve blocks of tickets in advance through our suppliers and promote and sell the tickets to our clients. Once our allotted tickets for a specific event are all sold, we close the account with the supplier and provide payment, which is usually about two to three weeks before the event date. As soon as we receive the tickets from the supplier, usually about seven to ten days before the event, we immediately send them to our clients. While this process results in a delay in receiving the tickets relative to purchasing through other channels (e.g. TicketMaster, box office pick-up etc.), the main benefit is that our clients usually receive discounts on their purchases.
