Why don I have to separate recyclable materials into categories such as glass, plastic bottles, cans, newspaper, etc?
Grupo PUNTACANA has a Recycling Center where recyclable materials are classified by type and organized for collection by a company that specializes in recycling. As long as materials are separated into four categories (Organic Waste, Recyclable Waste, Yard Waste, and Trash), the Department of Solid Waste Management will insure that materials are separated as needed.
