Simple answer: It’s less expensive and more accurate to use Muller Machine. I blueprint engine cases – period. That’s what I do, day in and day out. I’ve been doing it for 25 years. That level of experience can not be duplicated by any engine builder or machine shop in the world. There are plenty of good shops and machinists that are completely capable of blueprinting a lower end… however after machining one or more sets of cases, they typically find they can send the cases to Muller Machine — and get a better job for less money than it would cost them to do it themselves. Additionally, Muller Machine only works on a wholesale level (with established kart shops and engine builders). Pricing is such that each customer can include my case blueprinting service as part of their complete engine blueprinting job.
