I believe christians celebrate easter and christmas because we have been lied to for years, both easter and christmas are pagan holidays added to worship by the Roman Catholic emperor. The church know the truth but refuse to inform the congregations. Hanukkah is not a religious holiday but a festival, more of a celebration. Jesus did celebrate, but it is unlikely that Christians would commemorate this festival anymore than they would celebrate other Jewish festivals.
