Why dont all army men get a honor for coming home?

Growing up an Army brat myself I always wondered the same thing. My step dad went to Iraq way back when and then to Korea and again to Iraq.He never got any sort of medal or thanks for that from the Army, but from all the people supporting him (friends and family) he got many thanks. If your brother isn’t getting anything from them its not because he didn’t do something great. It is because there are too many people that the military should be handing out to soldiers. There are many people who served in WW2 and Vietnam who still haven’t gotten recognition for the great things they have done.Your brother is one of the brave men who fought for freedom and should know that what he did, didn’t go unnoticed.Personally i think it is the way the money is being spent on a war that wasnt our own to begin with and now that the government is short on money when it comes to handing out awards, it falls shrot of what the military deserves.
