Why Doesn WWE go to the United Center in Chicago?
I don’t really know, you’d think that with the size of the United Center they could fill the building. The Blackhawks play out of their and they get huge crowds. The place is a cavern. It can fill, before the floor and standing room areas something like 21, 000 people for NBA games. I think a big reason for it is it’s way cheaper to book into lesser known or worse venues. WWE does the same thing when they come to Vancouver. They don’t rent out GM Place, where the Canucks play, or even Pacific Coliseum, where the Canucks used to play, they’ve rented out some old barn called the Agrodome that seats about half the capacity of the other two.
