Why doesn Word Menu have every variation of a root word?
Because Word Menu started out as a very long printed reference, derivatives of words, as those ending in -ed, -ing, -ly, -ness, and -ation, are usually not listed separately from the base word. For example, indict is listed, but not indictment; relative is listed, but not relatively; paradox, but not paradoxical or paradoxically.
