Why doesn webmail show the images in HTML mail?
If you are using webmail in the Control Panel and your HTML messages have all images replaced with the text “This image has been removed for security reasons,” this is how you enable viewing images in HTML messages: Get into the webmail program, then click “Options” at the top, then “Display Preferences” at the top right column, then change “Display Attached Images with Message” to Yes. Please note HTML email messages are a security risk. Spammers can use images in HTML mail to gather demographic information about you when your mail program contacts the remote server where the image is hosted in order to allow you to view the image.
