Pass-rate information would not be helpful to a candidate preparing to attempt the VCDX certification. The certification is granted to any individual who meets the prerequisites and demonstrates qualifying knowledge and skills. VMware does not have an agenda to fail a certain percentage of candidates. A primary overall goal of the VCDX program is to advance the field of enterprise design for virtualized infrastructure. This goal will be best served when, someday, every candidate who reaches the VCDX Defense phase succeeds (as measured by our established criteria) and is certified. Pass rates for all VMware certification exams, including the VCDX application and defense process, are strictly confidential. All VCDX3 candidates were measured against the same criteria throughout the duration of the VCDX3 program. VCDX4’s criteria will be similarly uniform throughout its duration.
