Why doesn’t the Therapeutix® System include a scrub or toner?
While scrubs and toners may “feel” like they are “working”, they can cause unwanted side effects. The granules used in scrubs can cause skin to become irritated, sensitive and red. It can even cause broken capillaries. The alcohol used in most toners can cause skin to become sensitive and increase redness, especially in adult acne. What are the pH balances of Therapeutix® products? The pH Balance in Clarity Clarifying Cleanser is 5.13-5.21, in Care & Repair SPF 15 it is 6.89-7.5, in Clear Complex Night Lotion it is 5.14-5.28, and in Emergency Outbreak Stick it is 4.55-4.60. Is there a cure for acne? Unfortunately, acne cannot be cured. However acne can be treated and controlled with continued daily use of the Therapeutix® System.
