Why doesn the skating rink stay open year-round?
Actually, we are working towards eventually running year-round. The problem we generally run into is, that when school gets out for the summer, kids slowly stop showing up for skate nights. Because we are located so far out of town, we are unable to do any skating sessions during the days off, and kids have found other activities over the nights that aren’t normally available during the Fall and Winter months. However, as we work towards building a brand new rink inside the city of Columbus, we hope to be offering year round skating, along with other events and activities.
