Actually,it was Elizabeth’s ancestor,Queen Victoria who saw how important it was to build up the family’s finances because at the time,the royal family WAS considered poor and looked down upon by the aristocracy. Thruogh careful investments and budgeting she built up the family fortune. Not all of the Windsors are deadbeats.For example,Prince Charles receives his money from taxes and rents from all rentotrs and businesses on Wales. Much of that money is used for The Princes Trust who uses this money to work with underprivileged kids to provide scholarships and provide jobs for them. I don’t think they’re going to donate all their money just yet to the Gates Foundation. They have some agendas of their own on how it should be spent.
