Why doesn the PUT/GET IGES software translate all the entities in my Personal Designer drawings?

0

Some entities are unique to Personal Designer and can not be translated through the IGES nor DXF programs. The most common entity error message comes from entity type 145, which is a view image display. To avoid the error message “can not convert entity type 145”, delete all view image displays in your Personal Designer drawings (del ima n). If you are using Sub-figures within your Personal Designer drawings, the original Sub-figure must be converted into an IGES or DXF format and added to the receiving computer directory in which the IGES or DXF files will reside before translating any Personal Designer drawings which contain the Sub-figures. An alternative method is to use the “explode” command within the Personal Designer drawing. This will negate all entity association and convert the Sub-figure to strings. Please refer to your Personal IGES, User Reference Guide for additional entity conversion information.
