Why doesn the LocatorPlus record for a journal list all the sources that index that journal?

0

• The NLM only maintains indexing information for its own products (e.g. PubMed®, Index Medicus®, etc. [ceased in 2004] ). • The NLM adds and updates NLM indexing information on catalog records for all titles NLM indexes. • The NLM does not add any other indexing sources to the record. • When the NLM catalog record in LocatorPlus is based on another library’s cataloging copy, the NLM does not remove indexing information already on the record, but does not routinely verify or update any non-NLM indexing information.
