Why doesn the Linux Library work with Red Hat 2.x?

The Linux Library CD-ROM is a couple months old and is a.out. You need to install the aout-libs package off your CD-ROM to get it to work. You can use glint or rpm to do the install. It does report that you “do not have a Red Hat system”. This is normal. It is really checking for the existence of our old packaging system, RPP. Since we don’t use that, it reports that error. You can disregard it and continue the install.
