Why doesnt the lecture follow the lecture note?

They serve different purposes. I am assuming that you have read the notes or the relevant part of the recommended textbooks *before* coming to class. (In fact stay at least a chapter ahead of the class-even if you dont understand everything.) It is not useful for me to repeat what is in the notes or the books verbatim in class. Use the lecture as a place to hear answers to questions. Ask questions.
