Many students do not understand the purpose of noun-verb selection, so they turn off this options. Noun-verb selection allows you to pick objects first and then select the commands. With this option turn off, you will not be able to select the objects to be deleted. This also prevents some of the short-cut menus from appearing. To fix the problem, type “PICKFIRST” on the command line and enter the value of 1.
