Why doesn the computer accept my flash drive, Ipod, digital camera, etc.?

Our computers are equipped with high security software, and those devices which contain built-in software will conflict with our security software. In the case of flash drives, please try to purchase a flash drive without any built-in software. We can attempt to copy your flash drive document at the desk to a floppy disk to save your document if you need to work on it and/or just need to e-mail it as an attachment. Files from other devices will first need to be copied to CDs, floppies, etc on a non-library computer to be worked with on our computers, and then be sent to/from the device on a non-library computer. Some of the computers can write to CD and DVD media; however, none can handle Blu-ray or HD DVD media, or memory cards. Not all brands of CD and DVD media may work well (or at all) with our drives, and media in poor condition can be problematic as well.
