WHY DOESNT THE CLUB ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS FOR ANNUAL DUES PAYMENT?
Every time the Club accepts a credit card payment it has to pay a percentage of the charge to the bank. If we accept credit cards for payment of dues, it will cost the Club at least $100,000 annually, which will have to be passed on to the members in the form of higher dues. We do not feel that the convenience justifies the cost. If you want to put the payment on your credit card, you may want to consider using a convenience check, which is available from most credit card issuers. Since there may be fees and interest imposed, please check with your bank before using it.
