Why doesn the automatic scheduler work like its supposed to?
As mentioned on the franchise setup page, in order for the automatic scheduling to work like like it’s supposed to, you cannot change the divisional alignment – you must leave each team in the division that the site assigns. If you change the division, the automatic schedule will not work like it is expected to. Also, if you choose to over-ride the default divisional alignment, and then later choose an automatic schedule when you go through the league setup the next time, the site will automatically revert the franchises back to the divisional alignment needed for the automatic scheduling to work. One solution to this problem is to set up the divisional alignment the way you want it to be, and then use the “Set Head-to-Head” option on your league home page to manually set up the head-to-head schedule the way you’d like it to be.
