Why doesn the autobahn have speed limits?

0

Because the Autobahn was built to be used at high speed. Unlike the US interstate system the Autobahn has strategically placed curves to prevent highway hypnosis, strict rules against road rage, very slight elevation changes (ie, no sudden change in road grade), and requires the slower driver (even if you’re going 150 mph) to change lanes and let the faster driver pass.
