Why doesn TG fund projects for more than one year?
Because the overall funding for the competitive grant program is based on the corporation’s financial performance, we cannot assure grantees that we will be able to maintain a given level of support to continue projects indefinitely. As a result, TG attempts to encourage grantees to establish networks and partnerships that can help ensure ongoing support to sustain projects beyond the grant period. The proposal review process recognizes grantees who are able to provide evidence in this area.
