Why doesn Stoops Manufacturing Company sell products on online auction sites such as Ebay?
We prefer to maintain control over the way in which our items are presented on the web and in print. We do not not delegate that responsibility to anyone else. This helps to minimize confusion as to whether we actually offer a particular item or not; if it’s not in our catalog, on our website, or on a flyer that we sent out then we haven’t offered that item. Quite often some have mistakenly thought that we had items listed on sites such as ebay and these were items that we feel would be inappropriate for our company to offer. We make every effort not to offer items that would be of that sort. Unfortunately on many of these public auction sites apostates have sought to use the opportunity to mislead the unwary by having their items listed side-by-side with items relating to Jehovah’s Witnesses.
