Why doesn snow white have breasts in the Disney film?
Y’know, I have never once in my life thought about whether or not a Disney princess had breasts drawn, and so never noticed this. It’s curious. Similar story. When Disney bought Pixar a few years ago, it went about releasing all of Pixar’s material, including a collection of the famous short animation pieces which built Pixar’s reputation. One of them got modified — “Knick Knack”, which is probably better remembered by describing it as a toy snowman trying to escape his snow globe in order to join other tchotkes on the bookshelf for some fun. One in particular is a mermaid, and in the original, she had boobs (and a bikini top, of course). Well, they were a bit too prominent for the Disney folks, so the mermaid was taken down a few cup sizes and is now — well, much more streamlined, hydrodynamic. I recognize why this was done, but sheesh, it’s a cartoon. Should have just left it alone.
