Why doesn Scala have advanced features to create graphics or edit photographs?
There are plenty of other types of software devoted solely to editing graphics, and photographs. These products include Adobe Photoshop, and Corel Draw. They are specialty products designed expressly for that function. Scala is a presentation software designed solely for designing, editing, and playing presentations, and that purpose only. Getting out a stable, reliable presentation software is our main priority. Adding a feature such as advanced photo or graphics editing capabilities into a Scala product strays away from our main focus of designing and producing varying types of Multimedia Authoring and Playback software. Page elements such as photos or graphics are added to Scala Scripts, if desired. Most of the time, these are elements created outside of the Scala software, in a “paint” program, and added in later.
