Why doesn Outlook import categories from my DreamConnect 2 exported vCard file?
Unfortunately, most vendors don’t take interoperability very seriously. Neither Palm nor Microsoft applications support vCard very well (no categories, only one set of address details for home and work, only one note), and attempt to compensate with all sorts of proprietary import/export/sync methods. Apart from the very expensive option of writing specific conversion utilities for each application, there’s not much we can do at this point.
