We do not have an SMTP server for several reasons. If we had an SMTP server everyone in the world would be able to use it – even non-NitroTek clients, and since we are not an ISP we can not restrict the server based on IP’s. Also if someone used NitroTek’s SMTP server to send out BUCE (Bulk Unsolicited Commercial Email), it will result in our domain being blocked by other domain(s) and to be listed on the MAPS (Mail Abuse Prevention System LLC) RBL (Realtime Blackhole List).
