Why doesn my Unreal Engine 2 game have detailed shadows or my name on the Hellbender license plate?
As of patch 3369 for Unreal Tournament 2004, this functionality has been added. Expect other Unreal Engine 2 games to follow. To enable the functionality you’ll need to use the latest nvidia/ati drivers and set “UseRenderTargets=True” in the “[OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice]” section of your UT2004.ini. To get realistic shadows, you also have to set “bPlayerShadows=True” and “bBlobShadow=False” in the “[UnrealGame.UnrealPawn]” section of your User.ini.
