You cannot work in Tasmania using your interstate licence. As with drivers licenses and road rules, each state maintains jurisdiction over their own licensing. Regulation is through the respective state governments and their relevant legislation. Because of the differences in legislation, each state requires that a licence must be issued under their jurisdiction to authorise employment within the industry.
