Why doesn my graphics card support shader 3.0?
Shader 3.0 is a hardware component built on to graphics cards, my friend. It’s nothing to do with DirectX 10. I’m not sure which graphics card your computer has as it can, apparently, be fitted with any of a number of different ones. What I can say is that you can log on to the following site, select GRID – PC from the drop down list and then allow the site to scan your computer. (It involves you downloading a small file first, but this seems to be safe. I’ve used the site for at least a few years now, and you wouldn’t believe the amount of anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-malware stuff I’ve got running.) Allowing the site to run their scan will produce a page telling you if your computer does actually meet the minimum requirements for running the game or not. It will also make recommendations as to what needs to be upgraded to make it so.
