Why doesn my GenCon work now that Ive moved it to my new RV?
Your GenCon is configured to work with a specific generator model. Unless your old RV and your new RV have the exact same generator installed, you may find that the GenCon won’t work. This is due to having the wrong control program in the GenCon. The control program is set up for specific engines having a specific number of teeth on their flywheel running at 1800 rpm. Contact Westhaver Associates and we’ll determine if the GenCon is compatible with your new generator. If it is compatible, you can purchase an updated control program chip from us at a nominal charge.
