Why doesn my credit card transaction description indicate that my donation or registration is going directly to Susan G. Komen?
Through our National Partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Tubbs Snowshoes operates the Romp to Stomp as a separate entity while having an agreement with Komen to ensure that 100% of the donations and proceeds go directly back to Komen and the affiliates. All online transactions go through Tubbs Snowshoes. Donations are calculated and redirected back to Komen (usually at the end of every month). Registration fees are pooled together with overall revenue. At the end of the series, expenses are subtracted from that revenue and the 100% balance goes directly back to Komen.
